About Sollair

Clean Energy.
Working Land.
Local Benefits.

Sollair Energy is developing an entry-scale agrivoltaic solar project in Alberta designed to generate clean, renewable electricity while preserving agricultural land and supporting local communities. Developed by General Land & Power.

The Sollair Energy Project is a proposed 75 MW solar energy facility located in Rocky View County, Alberta, just north of Airdrie. The project is designed to deliver clean electricity to the Alberta grid while maintaining productive land use through agrivoltaic design.

Solar + Agriculture

Agrivoltaics

At Sollair, solar infrastructure is designed to allow farming activities to continue beneath and around the panels — keeping land productive throughout the project's entire life.
